Continuing our post CEDIA 2013 coverage is a tour of the Leon Speakers Booth. Joseph Shaheen, Acoustic Engineer for Leon Speakers walks us through their Horizon OTO Soundbar which debuted at CEDIA 2013 this year as well as a brief rundown of what they’re all about.
Leon Speakers is based out of Ann Arbor, Michigan where they create high end audio solutions for modern living space theaters. Each loud speaker is custom hand built in five business days and they operate on a custom matrix so Leon Speakers can match any flat-panel TV display. Since 1997, their mission has been to blend art with audio as well as design and technology.
Debuting at CEDIA this year was the Horizon OTO Soundbar. Built off the Leon legacy of ultra slim soundbar design, the speaker itself is less than two-inches deep and features their brand new OTO Power Amp. With 2 x 50 watts, an optical input, analog inputs, and integrated wireless output compatible with any Leon subwoofer, the Horizon OTO Soundbar also features a nice capacitive touchscreen display. Available at retail for $2,895.00 Leon’s OTO Soundbar will be shipping sometime next month.
Like all of Leon Speakers products, the Horizon OTO is hand built in five business days and ships with every custom option customers have come to expect from Leon. Built to match any flat panel display on the market with grills to match to any of the logos of TV manufacturers, it is also shipped with Leon’s own bracketry.
